02/15/19 I first came to deer park in October 2014. I enrolled in a men’s retreat. I had driven past the camp all of my life but never knew i
t was there. As soon as I turned into the driveway I knew Deer Park was a special place. Some people I know refer to it as a magical place!

On this men’s retreat I experienced life transforming growth and healing. I came home with a mission statement. My mission is to create a world of harmony and safety by loving through my heart.
Shortly after attending this men’s retreat I heard that the position of caretaker for Deer Park was opening up. My wife and I had put a picture of a retreat center on our vision board a few months prior. We had a vision of running a retreat center and here was the opportunity right in our laps.
Deer Park is a beautiful piece of gods land where people come to heal, grow, and renew their souls. Being a part of that gives my life immense purpose and fills me with joy.
